RESToration

Unless the Lord builds a house,
    the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the Lord protects a city,
    guarding it with sentries will do no good.
It is useless for you to work so hard
    from early morning until late at night,
anxiously working for food to eat;
    for God gives rest to his loved ones.
Psalm 127:1-2
Testing our friend's hammock during a nice hike through Harriman State Park.
I shared the verse and picture above solely because I love them both.  In no way shape or form could I dare say I've been working anything close to hard lately.  This is probably the most unproductive I've felt in a long time.  I stay up late, get up early, and I get next to nothing (important to me) done.   Rest is so important that if I don't get it at night, my body will take it in the day.  And truthfully, I'm just not productive at night.  As a result, my to-do list is getting longer quicker than I'm checking stuff off - not good.  So this week is all about reestablishing better sleeping (and eating) habits.  Between these two things, I know I'll be well on my way towards leading a more healthy and productive lifestyle.  I'm making important changes today to avoid preventable consequences tomorrow!  Are there any important changes you have to make for a better you?

Am I gonna have to bring you with me for morning runs? lol As far as me making changes: I've seen first hand how maintaining an unhealthy life-style can be detrimental to one's health. I refuse to go down that path. I use my body as a barometer, and make necessary changes as I go along, and definitely stay in tune with what God has in store for me.

You're so disciplined, that's gotta be a great feeling, lol. Since I'm not there yet, depending on how early, I just may join you for those runs.

Cool...whose turn is it to crack the whip now? Lmbo...seriously, I try. I'm definitey not perfect but my body tells me when I better get with it. I just can't let it go beyond the point of no return if you know what I mean lol.
